CHICAGO (SPINews) -- After 244 years, the Encyclopaedia Britannica is going out of print.
The last bound version is the 32-volume 2010 edition which weighs 129 pounds and is THE source on everything from aardvarks to zithers. The company blames publication costs and the digital age and says it's shifting its focus to the internet.
The 2012 edition will be released as a series of daily tweets over the next 13,477 years.

oh goodie - something else to look forward to!
