WASHINGTON (SPINews) -- According to a study by the Pew Internet & American Life Project, Americans are avoiding social contact by pretending to text or make cell phone calls.
This tactic is used to fend off salesmen, shun people seeking donations and sidestep elevator chit chat.
SPINews has uncovered other cases, namely Paul Ryan during debt ceiling negotiations, Sarah Palin on "Meet the Press,'" Wall street bankers during Senate committee hearings, Christine "The Witch" O'Donnell anywhere near Piers Morgan and Catholic Bishops all the time.
