SARDONIKA (SPINews) -- In a twist on the Juan Williams story, Fox News announced it has fired right-wing pundit Bill O'Reilly for comments he made on NPR's All Things Considered.
O'Reilly told host Michele Norris, "When I get on a plane and see people in KKK garb and I think they're identifying themselves as racists, I get worried, I get nervous."
For good measure, he added, "I mean, who wants to get lynched?!"
Roger Ailes, Fox News Channel president, was rushed to a hospital where surgeons prevented his head from exploding. "O'Reilly's alienating one of our key constituencies," he screamed. "Know-nothing, racist boobs!"
O'Reilly argued The O'Reilly Factor attracts millions who, if it weren't for him, would go out and read something, develop informed opinions and buy Volvos.
Ailes was unmoved. "We don't need Bill. We've got Sarah, Glenn and now Juan who is black or Hispanic or something."
